On the last day of Term 1, I had the privilege of attending the SPSSA Champions Athletics Carnival. There were some really amazing young talented athletes in Southern Tasmania at this year’s champions carnival, and 7 of these students came from Molesworth! Congratulations to Darcy, Violet, Lacie, Grace, Angel, Chelsea and Bonnee who represented themselves and Molesworth fantastically. Mrs Barber and myself were blown away by our amazing Molesworth students!

I would like to thank Mrs Donna Cross, Mr Shaun Sutton, Mrs Chloe Sutton, Mrs Natalie Maddox, Mr Peter Jelkic, Miss Matlida Jelkic, Mrs Sally Blackaby, and the Chaplin family who came to support our athletics and arrange transport for their child to attend.

From the results of the Grade 4 girls 100m final, Bonnee came in third and has been invited to participate in the PSST State Primary Athletics Championships in Launceston in May this year. Bonnee will be representing the South of the State against athletic teams from the North and Northwest. We wish her the very best and cannot wait to hear of her experiences when she returns.

On ANZAC day our SRC members went to represent Molesworth at the New Norfolk ANZAC Day March.

Order Forms were sent home with Grade 6 students for their Leavers Polo Shirt and Leavers Hoodie for 2025.  Could order forms and payment please be returned before Friday 9 May 2025 to allow for tops and hoodies to be available this term.

All will be distributed once they arrive, and full payment has been finalised. Please ensure that both the permission and order sections of the form are completed.
