We have some up-and-coming AFL and AFLW superstars right here at Molesworth! On Thursday, the 18th of September, the P/1 and 1/2 classes travelled to Tynwald Oval to participate in a range of AFL activities and modified games to put the skills they have been practising in PE to the test! We explored the club rooms, discussed the area and New Norfolk Eagles, which is the local community football club. We had quite a few students share that they already play there outside of school!

Thank you to Mrs Gilbert, Mrs Maw, Mrs Watson, Mr Wade, Mrs Cowley, and Mrs Stock for helping support all our students on the excursion and assisting with packing up!

A MASSIVE thank you to Mr Rogers for his AFL knowledge and expertise. Mr Rogers has been assisting the older classes in PE with key coaching tips on handballing, kicking, and bouncing, and has also assisted Miss Gourlay in the planning and setting up the activities to make our P/1 and 1/2 AFL excursion a great success!
